I wish

I was born about thirty years too late. Last night I watched the "Benny Goodman Story" again. I just love the music of that era. Guys like Gene Krupa on drums, Harry James and Ziggi Elmond on trumpet, Lionel Hampton on Vipes and of course Benny on Clarinet. It just doesn't get any better than that. You can keep your electric guitars, keyboards and 27,000 watt amplifiers blaring "rock".

Wonderful music. My Dad used to listen to Glenn Miller albums so I grew up with that music in the house.

My personal favorite music: Billy Joel and Steely Dan. Jim bought the entire CD collections for me two years ago.

I can't stand the music now. They aren't songs.
