to the passing of "my pictures" blog. While some may rejoice at it's removal, others will miss it. So to those now rejoicing, you have won nothing. Others have mearly moved on with their lives. They have out grown your meager activity.
Thanks so much for your surport. It's more important to Jim and I to take advantage of the time we have left on this earth to experience life much differently than before.
Yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful day walking in the city.
Walking along the lakefront in Chicago is beautiful. Have done it myself. Life is short, T and J, enjoy it. I will still blog, as I have some loose ends to tie up. After that, who knows? Maybe once in a while. I put 13 years of my life in drumcorps, my ex put in 17 years, and the girls put in 20 years together. 50 years in our family. I would say that is enough. So to T and J, I raise my cup of sumatra decaf and say:Thanks for blog. You two always made my day.
As for those you rejoice at its passing: Get a life. Spend time with family, read a book, visit the museums in your city, enjoy the small festivals in your city, etc. Drumcorps is but a nanosecond in your life.
